I think that's rain in the trailer.
I'm eighteen episodes into season one of Arrow. Laurel is definitely my favorite character. Loved how she deduced that it wasn't her sister that her mother saw. She could be a really good detective in the future. Felicity has warmed up to me I just wish she was tougher and more useful. Jessica De Gourock Is the only person I find attractive. I still hate Tommy, but he's slowly growing on me thanks to him being so against Ollie killing. Something is definitely missing and I think it's the light heartedness that Green Arrow is known for. I'm not hooked yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to season two.

It's at a 96% now. I remember The Amazing Spider-Man 2 had a fresh rating and consensus and then they had to change the consensus when it turned rotten. No Darman this isn't me ripping on the movie, just stating what happened. EDIT: Wow, this rotten review can basically be boiled down to "it's too much fun". Everything they're calling negative is WHY I'm seeing the movie. Oh, I know. The difference is, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 had been at a low 70-percentile rating the week before the film was released and the last week was enough to push it down 20%. Even if the same thing happened to Guardians, it would be sitting happily at a 70-something percent, which is where most MARVEL movies find themselves. And I always thought Guardians wouldn't be for everyone and that it might have a hard time with the critics. I hope I continue to be wrong. So looking forward to seeing this movie.

Anyone watching Hannibal or The Strain? I just finished the finale of season 2 of Hannibal. Wow... The red wedding has got nothing on Hannibal's ending. I started the Strain as well and it is very intriguing. Please people watch these two shows so that they don't get cancelled. We don't get enough quality television and these two are it.

The Strain is seriously fantastic. I've read the books and comics and we're in store for some pretty insane shit. Classic del Toro.

Has anyone here played the Destiny beta? Yes, it is fun when it works I had no problems with it when it was still active. I enjoyed it a lot, and I will definitely be getting the full game when it comes out.

I didn't know it was by Guillermo del Toro because my brain must not have processed his name in the opening credits but as soon as I saw the Master I was like "Hey this looks like classic Guillermo del Toro stuff." and I went back and saw his name and I was right.

If you've got a smart phone Avengers Alliance is incredibly addictive. It's a turn-based strategy game with a solid story that's very, very big, and you build up your team of Marvel heroes. I've recently recruited the Hulk and he is dishing out massive damage. You start off with Hawkeye and Blackwidow, and then get Iron Man and then you build up your team from there.

I played the Last of Us and it was great. Really the only thing that will really make me buy the next gen consoles is Mass Effect 4. Until then I am going to wait. Oi! Quick poll. In time for Guardians of the Galaxy. Top five or ten Sci-fi anything. Books, TV shows, movies, anime...etc. 1. Star Wars 2. Battlestar Galactica 3. Mass Effect Trilogy 4. Star Trek 5. Stargate Universe 6. Blakes 7 7. Independence Day 8. Alien 2 9. Predator 10. Fringe

1. Dune (novel) 2. Back to the Future (film) 3. The Empire Strikes Back (film) 4. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (novel) 5. Doctor Who (TV series) I definitely agree with your number one choice. Then, for me it would probably go Bioshock universe and then Star Wars original trilogy. Brian K. Vaughan's Saga would also be in my Top 10.

Twenty five more hours and I'll be in my seat for this year's best movie! Unlike the other Phase Two films I haven't gotten spoiled yet. Get hyped!

But wouldn't it be crazy if they replaced the entire cast just so they could bring in Clarice Starling to avenge there deaths. Ok. That's not going to happen because Bryan Fuller said they aren't allowed the rights to Starling. Still though replacing the entire cast would be crazy.

Didn't they say they were going to be handling the novels in later seasons? Well that was there initial plan. Starling actually was going to be in the next season but the rights to Starling still belongs to MGM. Red Dragon starts next season and hopefully if they get the rights from MGM than Silence of the Lambs should be in season 4. But it it doesn't work out than they might have to deviate from the books which might actually be better because I would rather like original stories than just watching the longer form of the movies.

Gotcha. I quit watching Hannibal about five episodes in because I didn't like any of the characters. It's a shame because Bryan Fuller's other show, Pushing Up Daises, was so goddamn good. I was thinking the books being "adapted" would bring me back. :\

Originally they were going to chose David Tennant to play Hannibal which I think would have been a much better choice. Especially how he played Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter. That was a perfect mixture of sanity and insanity.
