Yep. I agree with you guys. He does seem a tad mad. Though it's not surprising considering Ewan was part of the prequels.

Question Time
Question Time II
Question Time III Question Time IVQuestion Time VQuestion Time VIQuestion Time VII I'm going to bring these out more frequently to invigorate the thread a little more. Probably won't work though. Top 3s are always welcomed but never necessary. 1. Who is your favourite femmefatal, your favourite female warrior, your favourite vixen in all of fiction?!! I would also love to hear why you have chosen her. 2. Who do you prefer, the Avengers or the X-Men? 3. What is your favourite Star Wars film? 4. What is your favourite anime? 5. Which do you prefer, Blockbuster or Arthouse cinema? 6. Who is your favourite Green Lantern? 7. What is your favourite comic book you're reading right now? 8. In no particular order, name three mythological creatures that you like. What are your favourites? 9. In no particular order, name three animals that you like. What are your favourites? 10. Name one superhero comic book character that you don't like. Who do you thoroughly dislike? It can be anyone from superhero comics but it doesn't have to be a hero. 11. What is your favourite film from the 1970's? 12. Another Land: If your country was about to be destroyed.. or let's say, swarmed by massive steel-clad Giants, electrically charged Goblins that burst out from the ground and acid-spitting Mutants with armoured skin.. which country would you go to to live for the rest of your days? Which country would you like there to be sanctuary? 13. The two movie kings of 1999 go head to head! Which do you prefer, Fight Club or The Matrix? 14. Who do you think would win in a war between the entirety of the Marvel 616 universe and the entirety of the DC universe pre-2011? 15. Riddle me this. You can hold it without using your hands, arms, legs, lips or teeth. What is it? You can't hold it in-between your legs or feet either! And carrying it on your back doesn't class as holding.

1. Mikasa! I love her because she stole my heart. She's everything a badass female protagonist should be IMO and is sublime in every shot, and with everything she says. Her mysterious demeanour, her calculated responses, her passion and strength... I'll shout it again. Mikasa!! She's like the true personification of female strength and beauty. Suffice to say, I am absolutely in love with her.
2. X-Men. I prefer the characters and can appreciate their flaws a lot more. I also prefer the stories and I find that elements of horror and drama seem to work so much better with mutant/X-Men storylines.
3. Empire Strikes Back.
4. Attack on Titan.
5. Arthouse. Think an arthouse film can't handle a high budget? Modern Quentin Tarantino action scenes prove the contrary. Then there's films by Scorsese, Rodriguez, Spike Lee and Gareth Evens who all work with big budgets. There are hybrids like Neil Blomkamp films but his movies are better when they're more artsy. Whereas when I watch a good blockbuster my favourite scenes are always the special effects and nothing else, which of course is hardly something that makes me appreciate a story. I like both story and special effects in both blockbuster and arthouse films, but for me it's no contest, it's the really dramatic scenes that get me the most. But that's not to knock blockbusters. Some of my favourite movies are blockbusters. I nerd out over one, just as much as I do the other.
6. John Stewart. As a kid he was one of my favourite superheroes.
7. Saga. Read it and weap, and laugh and yell to the world how brilliant it is.
8. Ryujin (Japanese Dragon-God of the sea), Hydra (greek), Centaur. (Honourable mentions: Oni, Vampires and the Christian Behemoth.)
9. White lion, white tiger, grizzly bear. (If I could have a fourth it'd be the Domestic Cat). 10. She-Thing.
11. Scarface.
12. Somewhere in the Caribbean where I can put my back towards the coast.
13. The Matrix. This isn't an easy choice. I've watched both of them so many times but today I think The Matrix stands out a lot more as a groundbreaking piece of cinema IMO, movie magic that not even it's creators could replicate.
Trivia: The Matrix didn't win any Academy Awards simply because it went up against Fight Club in all it's categories, and unfortunately lost to Fight Club every time. However if they weren't released in the same year it would have been a different story.
14. I think it's a question of which universe has the most ultra-cosmic powerhouses, which universe has the most high-powered psychics and which universe has the most realty manipulators. Marvel trumps all three. Marvel also have the most gods. Egyptian, Norse and Greek.
The Celestials, the Shi'ar and the Eternals could pretty much do most of the work by themselves. There's also the countless alien races, like the Skrulls, Kree and Chitauri, plus a vast, vast legion of warriors from alternate universes lead by Kang. There's also Thanos and the Black order and remember that Norse mythology is nine different realms not just one. And if that's not enough, there's the Phoenix Force. And there's also the absolute infinite genius of the Council of Reeds to consider. So it doesn't really matter how smart Brainiac or Luthor are combined, what lurks in the darkest corners of the Fourth World, how many Lantern Corps there are or whether Superboy is as powerful as Superman, DC don't stand a chance against the sheer vastness of power of the MU.
15. Your breath.

Yeah, we're getting another DC reboot. It seems like soft reboots could soon become an annual thing for both Marvel and DC. The agenda is to keep making their stories accessible to new fans. I haven't seen either of them achieve that yet with their soft reboots so they should probably try something else. I think if a system doesn't work, try a different one. Perhaps it's a matter of confidence.

It's not another reboot, or at least a hard reboot. It's more of a relaunch, an end to the New 52 branding. The books are still going to be in the current continuity (except for the books that do take place in other universes like 3001).

What did you guys think of TWD S05E09? I really liked it. I don't know about Netflix US but Better Call Saul is now on Netflix UK if anybody wants to watch it. I haven't yet but will be tonight. To use UK Netflix just download Zenmate to Google Chrome and bingo. EDIT: Just watched the opening episode. I loved it. I found the three kids having sex with a decapitated head really disturbing and I'm still weirded-out by it. But it was also delightfully dark, funny, even though it shouldn't be. I'm not so sure about Mike being a ticket inspector but I hope we'll get to see how that continuity plays out in future episides. I really like the new cast. Blond smoking woman who we only caught a glimpse of was nice and I'd like to see more from her. The skateboarding twins were great. I can't wait to see them in the next episode, especially considering the debacle they find themselves in in the end. I thoroughly enjoyed the camera angles throughout. And the big cliffhanger at the end TUCCO!!!!! was utterly amazing for me. I'm pleased to say the series is off to a very strong start. I've read a lot of people on the Internet complain and say it was boring. I disagree. Sure, the middle act was very 'where are they going with this?' but I thought the pacing was good. The episode does a good job of incorporating Breaking Bad's greatest elements, like the cooking scenes (even though it wasn't drug related), the depression and the small yet unexpected comedy moments, which weren't haha funny but made me smile nonetheless. I'm excited for Episode 2 mostly because it'll likely be skateboarding twins vs Tucco. Awesome. If I am to offer a strict critique I will say that the series doesn't seem to be suited for new fans, but if you liked Breaking Bad, this (probably) won't disappoint.

Marvel fans are praising the partnership of Sony Studios and the MCU of Marvel properties. As I speculated, Sony - of course - aren't letting go of their very profitable purchase, or at least not for a very, very, very long while. But Spider-Man will be in the MCU. And not only that, it seems the MCU characters could be making an appearance in future Spider-Man films.
I think all this will eventually end up with Sony continuing to make Spider-Man films but under the strict guidance and management of Marvel Studios. This seems like the most likely thing to happen considering Sony is a business whom clearly are not going to want to let their money-making property go. I think this partnership was somewhat inevitable. Marvel wanted Spider-Man and they were going to continuously fight for it. But Sony were obviously not going to want to let their property go. Hence, a partnership was on the horizon. Finer financial details are still being discussed by the two companies. My only concern is the declining interest in Spider-Man in cinema. This will be the fourth Spider-Man cinematic universe and I know the general audience are getting very emotionally drained by the continuous re-makes. I can't wait to see Spider-Man in Avengers: Infinity though. It's going to be wonderful. Btw, how many Avengers: Infinity films will there be? Does is mark the end of the MCU? The title has a lot of fans believing the story will last until bankruptcy.

I'm excited for Spider-Man in the MCU. I wasn't excited for ASM or ASM2 but I am genuinely excited for his inclusion in the MCU. I think what most excites me is that if this can happen with Sony then it can happen with Fox. I need to see an Avengers and X-Men team up movie before I die lol.

I think what most excites me is that if this can happen with Sony then it can happen with Fox. I need to see an Avengers and X-Men team up movie before I die lol. Yeah, I can't wait to see Spider-Man swing along side Iron Man or Thor. I think a Marvels movie would be freaking awesome, capping off Phase 5, and it would be really successful too because a true Marvel ensemble is something so many people want to see. But I think another new set of solo Spider-Man movies might ware out the vast majority of the GA. It's difficult to presume how successful a new Spider-Man movie universe would be. I know a lot of people didn't care for ASM and didn't/haven't bother(ed) to watch it simply because they didn't like the idea of going through the origin and villains again, and the Oscorp, Uncle Ben stuff again. Doing it one more time might reflect badly on superhero movies as a whole. I'm often sceptically asked how long "they're" going to keep on bringing out superhero movies, but then again I also have a lot of friends who love them and continue to book tickets to see them. But everyone I know personally, including myself - for lack of a better word - hated the first AMS. I suppose I'm down for a new Spider-Man universe but it will have to be something truly amazing to interest me enough for a cinema viewing. But still, a Phase 4 Spider-Man sounds awesome to me as a Marvel fan. But personally I would rather it didn't come out until Phase 5. Instead I think Marvel should use Phase 4 to do a few Spider-Man Avengers cameos and possibly one or two more team-ups as well, tease the GA to convert them into wanting a new Spider-Man movie. I don't know what will happen with Fox's Marvel properties. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Fox didn't comply. But that doesn't mean it won't ever happen. Wolverine might eventually be in an MCU movie because I expect Fox might loan their characters to them but I definitely don't think they'll ever properly sell off any of their X-Men related stuff. I'm hoping the three companies; Sony, Marvel and Fox will put their competitive differences behind them and work together with character loans and occasional tie-ins in the future. I think we all are.
