Sometimes I read a comic book and think, "Comics used to be fun. What happened?" Hey, that story explains why Conway is my second favorite writer for Spider-Man. That story is emotional and it works really well. It was the single best part of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 too and that is why, despite how I feel about every other part of the film, I think it has the best ending for any comic book movie (besides the Sinister Six set-up, boo!).

Blowing up other worlds for the sake of your own is one thing. Going into other worlds, slaughtering everyone, and THEN blowing up the world? Wow. Now I don't know about you guys, but I'd say that was pure sadism through and through. I know Namor has always been more Neutral than Good or Evil, but slaughtering billions of innocents with his own two hands for no other reason than enjoyment is a pretty F'd up turn of events for the character. I know he doesn't usually have much trouble with destroying societies with or without casualties, but there's always some reason for his actions, as there naturally should be with such drastic decisions. What makes you think they are killing everyone by hand and not just dealing with the "super powers" of the world like in the previous incident? It doesn't even have to be supers either they could just be dealing with regular people defending from an invading force where they wish to plant the bomb.

Maybe everyone, maybe not everyone. I'd quite like to see Namor have to try and keep Thanos under control. And "innocents " don't have to be non-supes.

With a big movie like Age of Ultron coming out next year, there is no doubt that Iron Man, Thor and Captain America will be the same.

I'm pretty sure they said it in an Axel-In-Charge, but if not then Marvel has said before Spider-Man wouldn't be coming back and sure enough he did.

Hopefully this Axis/Sixis event will introduce a proper villain to the MU, and by that I mean something that's actually dangerous. Someone who actually poses at least some sort of threat to the heroes. Someone who can actually take out some of the heroes, or just a few, or at least just do something that makes us think the good guys could lose. Whatever baddie's gona show up on Earth or whatever threat Marvel have in mind, it can't be willy nilly. This is an event. Let's make the danger feel a little dangerous, you know, make it feel eventful. All I'm asking for is something that makes me think tings might not actually be ok for the heroes. Something that feels like the bad guys actually stand a chance in all this.

Cool, I just took it as differences in opinion. I wasn't really joking though. I thought the "Everything dies" logic was pretty awful.

No point lying about these big changes that are going to stay "permanent". Same goes for Wolverine.

Chums! What raucous plans are on tap for the weekend?
Tonight I'm taking my lady to see Ghostbusters. Because that's how classy folks roll.
For Saturday, I plan to consume an obscene amount of whiskey as my alma mater obliterates my brother's alma mater in a friendly bloodbath of a football game.

I don't know man, Jean Grey is pretty damn dead. Rumor: Wesley Snipes to Reprise Blade Role!Okay, so I liked the first two Blade movies and the third one sucked. Let's not kid ourselves though, all three are pretty bad but Snipes performance just makes it so damn fun to watch. Now imagine someone with talent (AKA someone who ISN'T David S Goyer) is writing his lines. *drool*
