Yeah, I thought my bans were a bit harsh too. I suppose they're just extremely strict about ban avoidance over there. I had never even received as much as a warning as Mr Monster Munch before yesterday. I'm ok with it though. I've got this place now. @ Agemoi - Glad you're here, buddy. What did you think of The Raid? And given the lengthy posts you like to provide, I expect one now. :/ Did they ban your account and your ip address? Because that's what they did to me for promoting. They banned my ip address. Lmao.

Me too. Here is a good analogy. Plawsky is Obi-Wan and Cbr is General Grevious. Still, he is fighting the good fight. I just don't think he can win. Hell they might even ban him. Ban him? isn't that a stretch? If he continues to fight for our board back. Maybe they won't like that. True banning him would be a stretch but they might get rid of his moderator status.

Which is hilarious because I checked there forum domain. vBulletin. It costs so much CBR and they don't even have good things. For example, the quotation system and the like button and our shoutbox. We get all this for free. Lmao. LOL right? Its absolute madness. The shout box is a fantastic addition too! Its like a mini off-topic thread Yeah, I thought my bans were a bit harsh too. I fell off the UU community for far too long so its the perfect time to stay up to date. I wish i had a lengthy one for you! Turns out different territories have different films available. Apparently theres a program I can download that can fool netflix into thinking I'm in the UK and get what movies are there. But ill definitely make a point to make a big post when i see it haha

I don't think they will ban you if you do it once but if you do it a lot than most likely. I don't know there rules anymore.

@ @spider-Pig - To be fair, most opinions are bias. It's actually rare when one isn't. • I want TASM3 for 2016 and then a Sinister Six movie afterwards. Are you guys prepared for the new Christopher Nolan EVENT! I think it will be good. Nolan's a good Director. His last two movies, Inception and TDKR were incredibly flawed, but were also rather ambitious projects. I think Nolan will do well this time with a concept like Interstellar that's much easier to accomplish. This seems to be like one of those late 90's Hollywood epics like The Rock or Armageddon, which is an easier target audience to please than Batman, and Inception was a bit of a mess, plots wise. Hopefully Interstellar doesn't come with all the 90's cliché's though, like having a hundred shots of people staring at TV's and monitors in anticipation.

Noone said you we're.
I never said you did, i was talking in general sense. I guess i assumed too much on what you read online. Me and Darman have been young and foolish and spent too much time on the cancer that is comicbookmovie.com
Studios plan long ahead, shouldn't this be a good thing? Kevin Feige has many Marvel movie plans, but he hasn't signed the actors for anything yet.
I wouldn say Marc Webb has a good plan, as his story is a trilogy and each movie stands on it's own. Not to mention Andrew Garfield is (not saying much, but still) the definite on screen Spider-Man. Dude nailed it.
Tried? He is the founder (Founder!) of Marvel Studios. Thru his talents he saved Marvel from bankruptcy and reinstalled the superhero movie genre, since noone had cared about cape films after Batman and Robin. Avi Arad didn't try to get things done, he got the things done!
That's because he hasn't tried to copy Feige, until now maybe?

Alright, I'd break up the reply again to be neat, but I can't at the moment. And man, to address what you said "in a general sense," it sure read a lot less general considering you picked apart 1/4 of my post very specifically in a condescending manner. And true, Avi IS the founder but he's not there now. He's the reason its there and I wouldn't take it away from him, I'm speaking in current terms. He's not the reason for current Marvel Studios success, which is what Im citing. I read the letter he released to the press yesterday too, so its not like Im saying he's useless. Times have changed and he's playing catch up, its just an observation. Thats literally all my initial, more general point was. I want this franchise to succeed because I i like it. And I agree, Andrew Garfield IS the definitive spiderman. AGAIN, I've said this. He's absolutely my favorite and I want him in the part as long as he's able. And yes its good to plan ahead, but the difference is Marvel Studios are very open about their plans AND they have Disney money to support it. Sony has sold their computer division and many film properties in order to stay afloat financially, so no I don't see it in the same light at all. Does that mean I harbor any ill will? No.

Hasn't it already?
Sony sold their PC division because people are more into tablets and smartphones. PCs are going to stay for work, gamers and office work. I don't recall what film properties Sony sold off, but what's wrong with them not finding something profitable?

I don't recall what film properties Sony sold off, but what's wrong with them not finding something profitable? Yes and no actually. ASM2 has made a ton of money so far as it grossed $91.2 million domestically opening weekend, but it's still the lowest grossing spiderman to date which bums me out immensely. That, and its the lowest rated ((54% on rotten tomatoes)) Here's a solid report on it. Not that we should really care about critic ratings, but its still a bummer to see that.I don't see it as much of problem or a bad thing per se, but Im pretty sure Sony has only turned a profit in the 2010 fiscal year and has constantly been spending more than they're making. I just saw it more as a symptom of a bigger problem they've been having company wide more than anything. But hey, seriously, regardless of any nitpicking anyone can be doing here, I dig the films and I want to see more. Im bummed more people don't like them as much as we do, but it is what it is. I still like talking about what ifs though. I could imagine Andrew Garfield and RDJ just tearing apart the scenery in a crossover. I think his charisma could add a lot to that universe, but again thats why its a what if haha

All Spider-Man movies have made less money on opening weekend after Spider-Man 1, it's called franchise fatique. People are overreacting on the internet and not waiting patiently regarding the Box Office numbers, but Spider-Man 2 will have competition with X-Men at the end of May, but that's far away, not like how ASM had to go up againts The Dark Knight Rises.

Yep, i provided a link above that talked at length of the economic spiderman trend and franchise fatigue. And because of the trend, ASM2 will probably just match the first in total gross, which the studio sees as a disappointment. And thats insanely disappointing. The writers on boxofficemojo are very, very good analysts. We already know its not going to make a certain amount of money, but that doesn't mean its doing BADLY by any means. So people calling it a "failure" or a "disappointment" is just utterly absurd. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has made $374,272,587 worldwide.
If thats not good I don't know what is!

Agemoi: Thing is that scene wasn't the problem, the lack of payoff was. The film had too many replaying of older scenes as it was, but I think it worked in the beginning. Plus it had the only well done (albeit filmed entirely too close) action scene.

Plus it had the only well done (albeit filmed entirely too close) action scene. This is very true! The film felt the need to retread too much from the previous film. But see, because the reveal was lacking it made the scene that much more jarring for me. The revelation about what Richard Parker was doing was cool but it wasn't so earth shattering as to warrant the action scene which was used to build up that reveal. The scene and the reveal are very much connected narratively so its hard for me to watch it on its own. I thought a lot of what spiderman did in the film was really damn cool, especially the time square stuff showing how he uses his spider sense. Marc Webb isn't the best action director by any means, but i did like most of what was in there enough
And see, this is why i like talking about the film though, because I've talked to so many people about what they liked and what they didn't, and they're all so vastly different. And that goes for our conversation! haha

Alright, so if I were to give the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game a score right now, it'd probably be a 6 or 7 out of 10. It's fun at times, but then gets REALLY monotonous at other times. The fun parts would be getting those extra costumes. Anyways, I'm only a few missions away from beating the game, and my uploads will be a little behind that.

No problem man Awesome, keep it up! Im pretty torn on picking the game up. On one hand I've played every spiderman game in the last 10 years ((save for friend or foe)) and on the other there just hasnt been A LOT of improvement on each subsequent release. But it looks fun and the costumes are a big selling point lol
