Yep, hate gore. That's why I love Ultimatum, exploitation films like I Spit On Your Grave and The Last House On The Left, and that Peter Jackson is one of my all time favorite directors. Because I obviously hate gore. Right, more sarcasm. So why don't you like the bath falling through the ceiling in Breaking Bad or limbs being chopped off in a series about sword and axe wielding warriors? Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones are not unrealistic. They're actually statements of realism, a decision to be utterly faithful to the genre. They're pure, realistic examples of the thematic elements. Not watered-down, apologetic, family-friendly renditions like LotR tried to achieve. That's why there's no blood when people get stomped to death or when somebody gets their legs bitten off in LotR. But now it's time for things to be done right, for films and TV shows to be depicted in believable, unapologetic ways that ignore the pretentiousness of censorship. EDIT - What more can you expect from a TV show about bladed combat?

And no, getting your skull crushed by someone's bare hands isn't realistic in the slightest.

The bathtub isn't realistic. They did it on Mythbusters and it didn't work. That's not why I didn't like it. How isn't it? Don't you believe that people can be that strong? Because they most certainly can. I don't see how. Hydrochloric acid can eat through practically anything. That's something I've personally tested.

Actually I remember that episode of Mythbusters. Hydrochloric acid isn't that great at eating through flesh. Contrary to popular belief. If I remember they used gallons of Hydrochloric acid and it didn't do much at all which was the surprising part.

They're both incredibly energetic, full of life, and are very excited and fast. They both do a great job in capturing that Spidey feel.

Are you sure Mythbusters is legit? Because in school we put a rock, a ceramic tile, a wooden pencil and half a ruler and some other things into a plastic beaker of hydrochloric acid and by the next day, all if it had decomposed. Of course it's realistic. It's science! Think back to your education. I remember it well because it was the best thing we ever did in Chemistry. Yeah they had to go into the more insane chemicals to get it to do anything to the bathtub. Then they should have left it in there for longer.

What they were trying to prove is whether hydrochloric acid could cut through flesh in the same amount of time as in that breaking bad episode. They found found out that hydrochloric acid doesn't do much to flesh and bone even if left for half a day. But it can cut through metal somewhat fast.

And as seen in Breaking Bad, the blood hadn't dissolved either. I can't remember how long they left the body in the bath tub in Breaking Bad, I don't think it said. And really, the bath tub should have stayed upstairs whilst the bottom of it melted through. But that's not an unrealistic depiction of gore, either way you look at it. And I doubt my science teacher would have lied and risked taking all the items out of the plastic beaker just to prove a point.
But again, if someone doesn't like blood and gore, them watching a series about bladed combat, fire breathing dragons and limb dismemberment probably isn't a good idea.
Besides, lumps of undissolved flesh would have been even more gory.

It depends upon the strength of the acid. The Molar Concentration.
12 Molarity of HCl probably will do something but I do think it's safe to dispose down the sink.
did they say how strong the acid was? Stomach Acid is made of HCl but it's only 1 Molarity or something small like that.

They're both incredibly energetic, full of life, and are very excited and fast. They both do a great job in capturing that Spidey feel. I love Drake Bell. I loved Drake & Josh and still do to this day. But I don't associate Drake Bell with Spider-Man. Regardless of how I feel about the show, his voice just has an oddly super-childish quality and it feels overplayed. I'm still gonna buy the product as I think he deserves a shot outside the show but I didn't feel like it was that different in the MMO that was released. That line, though, did feel like Spider-Man to me, for what it was worth. I just don't have much hope for it. Although, I don't have much evidence that Drake Bell isn't a good Spider-Man as the game felt like one hour's work that just keeps getting replayed over and over again, regardless of situation and the writing was pretty bad, making Spider-Man the fool again. And the show does the same thing. So, Bell just, IMO, hasn't had very good material to work with which makes it difficult, especially for voice actors who can't demonstrate the mannerisms that go with the character to complete the picture.

Did you not like him in Earth's Mightiest Heroes or LEGO Marvel Superheroes? He wasn't in Lego Marvel Super Heroes, that was James Arnold Taylor. And in EMH, I was a little too upset it wasn't my favorite voice actor for the role (Josh Keaton) so my response would not be legitimate as I haven't seen an episode with him in it since. I'll have to check it out again.

Drake Bell proved that he can at least embody the role if he can't truly define it for me. Definitely hoping it is more along these lines in the future. Thanks for directing me to these videos!

Speaking of Drake Bell and Spider-Man, I watched Web Warriors episode one and 2. It was alright. Animation was good, voice acting was consistent I suppose but the stories aren't really enough to draw me in. I knew what was going on, but it almost felt like a chore to watch it. I started to get bored, but hopefully upcoming episodes will have me griped on the story. Oh, and there is also a nice little Superior Spider-Man reference.
