has anyone picked up all new ultimates #2 yet? Yeah. I'm dropping the book. The art and dialogue are piss poor, and the great roster has been wasted on this book. Hopefully UFF can hook me in soon, because I can't stand the art on that either. |

Im probably gonna give ANU another issue, 2 tops, until I throw in the towel. I never do that with UU books. I read Ultimate Avengers 3 straight through even though it was horrendous! But it was also a mini, so meh. But, in all honesty, it was a fucking hassle to finish issue 2 last night. Just droning dialogue from people we haven't been properly introduced to, all to the tune of highly unattractive art and a stomach-churning color palette. Its not engaging on any level, and the main cast can't seem to find their own voice either. Yeah. I'm dropping the book. And with UFF the art is off putting, but at least Fialkov can write GOOD dialogue. ANU is an absolute chore to get through. What is the UU coming to? This is easily the worst relaunch I've had the displeasure of reading. |

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing haha But on a more serious note: you know, I wasn't part of the group clamoring for people to come back right after Ultimatum, because I hoped against hope the UU was building toward something great. It sure felt that way! But then we were obviously running into constant delays and editorial mandates, and now we have a universe full of chickens running around with no heads. It has zero direction, and its never been more obvious. I think Bendis should cut down the books he writes and just nurse the UU back to health. Hell, Doctor the damn thing! Get artists he trusts with deadlines and just write the scripts himself. That, or get Spencer back in some fashion, Maybe Rucka or BKV can find time for some UU action.
Because the more UU issues I read, the more my heart breaks. ITS BREAKING, DAMN IT! |

Whoa. Nostalgia overload! Hello. Whoa. Guys. No one told me this was announced. When did this happen? X-Men: ApocalypseI think it was announced last Autumn. I think it's great. I like how similar it is to the UU going all DOFP with Kitty Pryde and setting up a big Apocalypse arc with it. Hopefully it'll convince the Ultimate Marvel editorial to consider continuing Nick Spencer's scripts in 2016. Considering how lacklustre this relaunch's initial sales were, I wouldn't be surprised if we got another relaunch in 2016. Nice! Music sucks though. That just tickled my fancy.  |

I would be perfectly content if they did a series about him or all the X-Men that was set in the past so Marvel can say the characters are still dead. I would prefer he comes back in the current UU along with everyone else (well most everyone) but I'm not holding my breath. |

I implore everyone to watch The Office (UK) from start to finish on Netflix. It's only two seasons long and it ends triumphantly. It's so good how the plot develops each episode. That seems like quite a stretch for a first season. Hopefully it won't lose steam. I was expecting about 13 but 23 could prove difficult to be consistent. Then again, I haven't watched Arrow yet. I refused to pay my TV licence so I don't have TV programmes anymore. I just watch Netflix off my PS4 as it's only £5.99 a month which is much more affordable. UK Netflix seems to be expanding every couple of days now so if the the DC/CW shows get on there I'll check them out. I've recently started watching Sherlock again from the beginning as I missed quite a few episode first time round. This reminds me of Smallville. It's like the anti-Arrow. I'm so down. Not to me. Smallville was boring. And the Flash protagonist won't take 50+ episodes to suit up. |

Mr_Monster_Munchall good man! But that flash trailer was.. pretty damn cool. I generally have never cared for the character, but i really like Grant Gustin ((i think is his name?)) in the role. That, and it looks like the show will have a lot of heart and a lot of humor. Shibby.
