You have me to thank for his return :3 Still teaching. Had a falling out with a colleague (good riddance) Union Training on Tuesdays Trying to get a class to be transferable. Trying to get this summer program to go through And a whole mess of stuff. HOW DO YOU LIKE THOSE APPLES!!!! Sounds like a lot of work. |

Funny you should ask. In no particular order.
1) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
2) Guarding the globe
3) Wonder Woman and Superman and Wonder Woman
4) Astro City
5) Amazing Spiderman
6) Smallville
7) Invincible
8) New Warriors
9) Nova (about to drop it though)
10) Anything that catches the eye.
Today, I just picked up "Bravest Warrior" and I tried to convince my comic book guy that he should watch "Adventure Time" because it's been mentioned in the New Yorker and Time Magazine.
I'm also going to try and finally complete my Negima manga collection.
Anybody here watching HunterXHunter?

I gave my workstudy student
Ms. Marvel and I loaned him
Superman Birthright which I then quickly loaned to another student who was a huge Superman fan but he was waaay more into the movies. But just the live action stuff.
He didn't even know about the animated stuff.
Superman vs Muhammad Ali and Kingdom Come which my workstudy student finally gave back to me today.

Anybody here watching HunterXHunter? I have been meaning to watch it but I never had the time. My friend tells me all the time to watch HunterxHunter and Attack on Titan. I might do it this summer if I have time. Though I have an internship at a Presidential Library starting next week. So we will see. |

I'm not sure I like a universe without a Hal Jordan, but there storyline makes much more sense. I still have hope for Nova but they really do need another writer. |

I agree, I just finished it. Not feeling it at all, honestly. This team definitely has potential, but so far its just.. not engaging. AND even in a team book it has to be referenced that Miles is living in peter's shadow. Case in point: Potential Insanely Minor Spoilers! Just to be safe  Diamondback: "OH, my God. Are you really Spider-Man? Aren't you, like, dead?" Mile: "Long story. Now get off!" Seriously? Its been 3 years our time, 2 years comic time. People KNOW theres a new spider-man. I dont get why this needs to be a constant thing. "Get it? It's not Peter." Minor gripe, but its relevant considering the conversations I've been having with you all here and some others on CBR. |

It's like the artist said screw it let's just make 20 equal size box sequences. That is a boring way to tell a story. It works if it's like 6 boxes per page and they are big but not like 8 per page for several pages. |

I love that John is teaching Clark the ways of the ring. I'm fine with no Hal, never cared for him. Dude brought in my favorite Guardians of the Galaxy member and then wrote him completely out of character.
