Its good there's been progress though, so its obvious shes put effort into it. Definitely just take a breath dude, maybe play more spiderman! Let her take a day ((hopefully 1)) to sort her shit out and let her come to you. You've made your feelings known so the rest is on her and how she chooses to respond. And dude at the end of the day, you're gonna be fine Whether good or bad comes of it. Im trying to find a couple funny photos this page posts in my facebook feed. They're silly but they alway smake me smile a little Here's one! I was feeling pretty down the day I saw this and it managed to make me laugh a bit.Haha, with the way I web-swing I don't know if playing Spider-Man will calm me down. But I'll either do that or try to get some sleep. But seriously, thanks for talking with me about this, you, WOlverine12 and Sage. Normally I don't have anyone to talk to so I usually drive myself insane. I'll give her some space and get some work done with Spider-Man. I'm going to get going, but thanks for that image, too haha touché! Its all good dude, Im more than happy to lend a hand. Ive been there far too many times where I either didnt have anyone to talk to, or felt not many would understand. The curse of having all your closest friends spread over the country! But yeah man, no problem, have a good night!

Ugh, I suck at relationships. I like thinking ahead when it comes to my relationship, but my girlfriend doesn't. So when she talks about the future, it's mostly in terms like "mine" or "my." And I think of it like "ours." So like, she says she's too young to think about moving in with me anytime soon. EDIT: I just needed some advice, I don't know if I should have posted this lol. Why do you need to move in together? Why is it that important for you? Think about the good things you get for having freedom on your own apartment!

Haha, i got banned from CBR forums for 2 days, because i kept asking about the Community threads and they told me the answer was somewhere in the CBR chat thread, which i'm not bothering to catch up with. I sincerely hope Plawsky fixes that Ultimately Off-Topic up, but i gotta admit for a site called freeforums, the post making is really fancy, especially quotation tags. Monster Munch, why did you get banned from CBR? Is it because you're "secretly" Robbie? Nicole Scott Plays "Earth 2's" Long Game. www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=52616 I once thought that mrmonstermunch was Robbie_Jee too, but I diminished the thought and decided I was just crazy.

Much prettier to look at. Hell in a day I've already made this place my ultimate comics home

If I have time in the next little while does anyone mind if I take a stab at creating a better banner for the forums? It kinda bugs me how it's all squished and distorted

The problem with the banner right now is that I had to widen the pic to fit the banner. If you can make one that fits, that would be great.

Hahaha Already a better movie I stand by the fact that Episode III is a good film. First two not so much. I stand by its a decent action film when none of the characters talk or pretend theres a plot lol Granted the script gave the actors nothing to work with, but the film has truly fantastic action in it. 100% with you on the first 2 though. Bleh.

I'm halfway through Attack of the Clones and then I have all of The Clone Wars to watch, but I'll get to it. The biggest problems with Episodes I and II is the dialogue. No one talks like that. I know i'm beating a dead horse, but CBR doesn't even allow spoiler threads till America's around 9 Am time, way to kick us Europeans in the balls. At least the new rule of "the topic has to be constructive" is a good improvement!

I do still enjoy parts of the prequels despite their complete awfulness and lack of character. But its mostly the action scenes I enjoy since i can turn my brain off, not hear anymore awful dialogue, and just look at the bright colors. I remember everyone hating the prequels when I was a kid, and as the years went on i finally understood it. Fancy effects and overly complex lightsaber battles can't cover up bad writing, bad direction, and dumb plotting. I tried watching Episode 3 this past xmas. Three times. Finally was able to get through it the third time. Lucas somehow managed to make Episode 3's non-action scenes even MORE monotonous than the previous two. Episode 2 is the WORST, but at least it had the hilariously awful romantic subplot that made it such a fascinatingly bad experience to watch. But yeah episode 3 is a fun film for sure. Its where to turn for the coolest lightsaber action.

At least the new rule of "the topic has to be constructive" is a good improvement! Are you serious? How did that place turn into Nazi Germany all of a sudden? Its madness. Constructive is good I guess, but who gets to make that decision? Sounds like there needs to be a more democratic voting process, but that won't work either haha. I only made 2 comments in the ultimate forum there yesterday, and everything else is too hard to follow

Agents of SHIELD I was thinking Skye was Jessica Drew, but with the information that Skye's parents were monsters (could be a metaphorical term so Spider-Woman isn't completely out of the question) and that Raina shares similar DNA I'm thinking she's either Abigail Brand or a Skrull. That or they're both Inhumans.

I'm going to bring back yesterdays discussion regarding the Box Office "failure" of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 <<< the economics of the film industry intrigues me so I figure I'd pass it on here even if there conversation doesn't move much haha. The article I link to discusses WHY it's going to be considered a "failure" and it makes more sense than I previously thought. I still think its absurd, but here's an excerpt from the end of the article: Its just a taste of the article, but its a better example of why Sony is hemorrhaging money and why they have so much riding on the ASM franchise. The article also touches upon how the films "first-Monday haul" was exceptionally lower than expected, and how the trend of franchise fatigue doesn't bode well for Sony's future dependance on ASM3 and the villain spin-offs. I dunno, I got a B.S. in Economics ((insert joke here)) so I find this stuff important. It affects the future of the stuff comic and film fans alike take joy in, so I become concerned when theres large financial concern. But whatever, Ill just leave it here haha

Right now she's ignoring me, and since she's already said we won't be talking as often while she studies, this means I have to wait to see how our argument ends. And I hate those kinds. I mean, I don't want to wait a day or more to find out if I'm going to be single or what. I'm going to be straight with you. I don't want to hurt your feelings, as whenever a man learns what I am about to say, it's not always easy to accept. I've been in the same situation as you are now and I've seen it happen to a lot of my friends too. Just forget about open and easy flowing conversation and everything you've heard about relationships being a two way street yada, yada, yada. It's not that simple. If she's not communicating with you, tell her you've got better things to do than to wait around for her. Be blunt and direct. It seems she's losing interest in you fast, and out of boredom, is now ignoring you. It's one of those "if she likes you, she'll come find you" scenarios. Girls tend to like men who are more nonchalant or confident with their feelings, but in a way where they don't need to get emotional or sincere. It gives girls the impression that you're strong, dignified and independent, have integrity, etc, all the things that spark strong sexual desire in a girl. And nothing will make her lose interest faster if you come across as needy or desperate for her love or approval. It's what some call the "wuss factor" and you must "man up" and try to avoid falling into this feeling at all times. If you've given her this idea in any way, chances are, she's already lost all interest. But if it's still early days, try a more dignified approach than a sympathetic one. Think about it, every girl since she was 12 or probably younger has dreamt about the kind of man they want to be with: The man who overcame every hurdle. If you think about it from a very attractive girl's perspective, she's not going to make this easy on any guy. But that's probably not what it's all about either. She's probably not just doing this to make you crazy on purpose but because she's unsure what she wants. All young girls want excitement in their lives. And she's probably unsure whether you're the man she wants to be with. My advice would be to talk to other girls. Don't flirt, obviously (I'm not even sure how to really go about doing that). Just be friendly to other people. Act happy and sociable. She wants her space, which means you should probably back off immediately. Don't worry about her, chat to your mates or to another girl, be friendly and sociable with everyone else, she'll look over and then she might want to talk to you. But whatever happens, don't say you're sorry when you have no dignified reason to be sorry. Girls hate that. I would love it if all relationships were equal, and they should be, but it's never that easy. Be nonchalant, let her see you socialising with other people and leave her to make up her mind. When a girl starts to lose interest, it can be the most difficult thing in the world trying to get her interested again, so more than likely, my advice won't work. But it's only going to make things worse if you "keep hassling her" which probably isn't how you see it, but is likely the way she sees it. So I think it's time for you to move on. And you never know, if she sees you being happy, like laughing out loud with your mates at a bar, she might just gain interest again. But at the end of the day, it doesn't seem like she's right for you, she doesn't seem particularly interested in any future you two might have together and she doesn't seem to care that she's hurting you. So I think you should just leave it and not bother. But do you know what the harshest thing is? We're not supposed to feel sorry for ourselves. Men are expected to just put up with it. Otherwise you'll just blend into the crowd of "sensitive" guys walking past the bored, pretty lady. You can be kind, sweet, caring, friendly. But you've got to be a man. This is just the pressure society has put us under now. You have to be a man, and sometimes that means bottling up your emotions until they no longer exist. Remember though, it's all about a dignified sense of confidence.

Mr_Monster_MunchI don't want to type another paper here so I'll just keep it short haha: Hit the nail on the head, sir. Men are expected to be dignified and confident, yet sensitive and attentive. And its crap, we have to constantly mold to others expectations. Hell, same goes with women! I just hate the double standards we still put on each gender. Both genders don't like neediness, but I think theres a fine line between being needy and being honest. I respect honesty and humility in all people, but many don't see all these in the same light. I was raised to be kind to everyone (unless they're an asshole lol). Some find it to be a weakness, and Its truly disheartening. But yeah, as far as thecrimson, just do you for now. Its her turn to come to you. Just keep those spidey vids coming!

I have a policy of not giving relationship advice, but I wish I'd read Munchy's post years ago. I'm almost 30 years old, married for 8 years, and I'm still learning this lesson: In any relationship, the one who cares less has all the power. The best thing--nay, the only thing--one can do to reclaim his agency is to live his life.

What?! No! They need to hold out for another season! At least give them 12 or 13 episodes! #sixseasonsandamovie I'll throw my two cents into the Star Wars discussion by saying I've enjoyed each and every movie except for the Darth Vader "NOOOOOO!" scene in Episode III *cringes*. I've seen The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones more than I have the original trilogy, though that's mostly due to accessibility. As a kid, I could pull out my DVD's and watch them easier than I could my VHS's.

In order to get ready for Star Wars Rebels (and the new movies), I'm gonna watch all of the movies (plus the Clone Wars TV show) in order. Of course, my plan makes it where the original trilogy will have to wait until the end of Rebels xD.

Batman: Assault on Arkham preview! - Batman confirmed to appear later half of the movie, essantially ensuring us this is a true Suicide Squad like the trailers, cover, information, etc gave us. - Matthew Gray Gubler as Riddler is 10/10 casting. - Harley Quinn looks and sounds awesome. 8) - Release date in August 14th, more details on this article.I find it so hilarious Black Spider is attached to this movie, thank you Greg Weisman for reintroducing this character via Young Justice and giving Batman a Spider-Man to fight lol. Hey kids, is Deathlok from Agents of SHIELD from Marvel your favorite character? We'll you're in luck! Because Nathan Edmonson is writing the new Deathlok, starring the Deathlok from Agents of SHIELD! I gotta admit, he has me fully positvely surprised with his Punisher comic, so i'll give this a shot, it will get canceled by issue 5 anyhow hahaha. Joe Carnahan talks his canceled Daredevil trilogy & upcoming Nemesis movie! PS. Steve McNiven's last Marvel gig is the Death of Wolverine, then we should finally get Nemesis 2.
