I thought it was a bit "meh" tbh. The first half of the issue however was good and I thought the plot was strong. But the character interaction didn't hook me like it did the first issue. The big brawls are a lot of fun and I look forward to seeing more of them. But yeah, this was pretty meh and it has me a little worried. These characters aren't engaging me like I want them to. Here is a link to what I think is a very good spoiler-y review I found on Spider-Man Crawl Space, courtesy of someone called Adam.

Yeah I probably should've made a thread for this last night, i put most of my thoughts into the off topic thread, but ill reiterate haha
I agree a bit, but "meh" is an understatement for me. It was such a chore to finish this book. It would be so much stronger if this book concentrated on the character interaction over the goofy action going on. Could you imagine a book that concentrated heavily on this team's dynamic while trying to clean up the streets from petty crime first? Not only would we, as readers, be getting a feel for how they operate, but we'd also start to see tactics, the learning curve for Lana, and just any potential drama looming on the horizon. Characterization should be the name of the game. Do all that whilst building up a bigger conflict arc the issue, ya know? Because I personally don't give a damn about anything going on. Not to mention i find the colors and the art to be the opposite of aesthetically pleasing.
**breaths** Man i gotta work on my frustration hahaha
So far I feel like this is a missed opportunity though. It definitely has the potential to be a solid book, but I'm not sold so far. Unless it picks up in the next issue or so I really don't think I can keep reading it

This was a remarkable improvement over the first issue. There may be hope for this series yet.
