Talk Talk, Virgin, BT, Sky, Plusnet and EE all do unlimited broadband for less than £20 a month. You might want to think about changing or at least looking for what deals are on offer somewhere else. If you all chip in you should be able to afford it. How long have you been with your current broadband provider? We use Suddenlink and it's been about a year maybe? It's honestly the only one around here that's 'good.' Well that seriously sucks. I hate when internet companies do that. Right now I am just using my college internet so I don't have a limit but I used to have to use Cox so I understand the pain. Honestly I don't have any advice because there isn't a lot of options. If google fiber took over everything then everything would be good but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Right now I am just using my college internet so I don't have a limit but I used to have to use Cox so I understand the pain. Honestly I don't have any advice because there isn't a lot of options. If google fiber took over everything then everything would be good but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Ah, it must be different in America. I take it Google Fiber is fiberoptic. I did some research and Korea seems has pretty much just fiberoptic broadband and is pretty much all they use and is five times cheaper than it is in America. And for no good reason too, other than, that's just how it is. But it's annoying for everybody for one very good reason. Broadband, Internet - it doesn't really require much resources. It's just like the phone services. The only resources it uses are a tiny bit of electricity which can be powered by the sun, some wires and a bit of plastic. It's just extortionate pricing for something in which the Earth provides so easily. And just like everything else, whether it's lawnmowers we don't need to the razors we shave with to the graphics in a Pokemon game to the homes we live in, there's absolutely no need to always pay such a ridiculous amount of money for such primitive technology. Broadband just shouldn't have to cost anything at all, let alone such a high price. It's just like a phone contract. I know phone signals and wifi are powered by electricity, just like so many other things we use, but it is only a little bit of human ingenuity which has brought us this simple tech. The Internet for example was made back in the 1950's. It's not the accumulation of money that's brought you nice things, but the efficiency of simple technology and the ingenuity of a very small party of engineers who are probably dead now. Think about it, you can get a pack of batteries for a dollar and yet they're only a few decades old. It's all just a corrupt market system. When are the public going to realise that profit doesn't economise? ramble, ramble, ramble... You should complain though because if you threaten to leave their service, they should drop the price at least a little bit, because they want your money. You'd be surprised what an angry phone call can do and a bit of haggling can do, because they don't want to lose you.

Bummer bro, hope you feel better soon. Thanks, man. So hey, reading any good comics? I'm behind by several months. I have just been following Axis and it's aftermath. Axis has been a really good event. I feel like it's been the best event that I have read in years. I like that Rick Remender can make stories fresh again but I wish he would just write for the Ultimate Universe because he would fit right in. I am also reading superior Iron-Man because I love Tom Taylor. This guy can come up with new concepts that I thought were never possible. I dare say that the guy is a genius. My ratings for writers right now is 1. Tom Taylor 2. Rick Remender 3. Jason Aaron 4. Mark Millar 5. Jonathon Hickman .... 1000. Bendis cause that guy sucks. I stopped reading everything from him and it made my life much better.

I'm really digging the "Death of Wolverine: Weapon X" series more than I had anticipated. Spider-verse has also been fairly entertaining.

I really need to get my hands on some books. Also, did anyone catch the new Agents of SHIELD? I did, I liked the big reveal even if it was pretty predictable. What I still don't like is the actress. I just don't think she is a very good one (actress) and she isn't hot enough to distract me from that, like say Megan Fox. I can't see her standing toe to toe with the likes of Sam Jackson, Chris Evans and RDJ. We'll see if that ever is even going to happen though.

I've just been catching up with Saga and TWD and it's new cast of characters. I've been reading some Blackheath books, been catching up with Daredevil and I have finally started reading Jason Aaron's Thor series, which I'm really happy about.
Did anyone here read Ragnarok by IDW? Is it any good?

I just recently re-read #1 of The Walking Dead. I really want to get as many as I can for Christmas. I can't get enough of it. I love TWD. If you want to get the first 96 issues, you should check out the first two Compendiums which collect 48 issues each. They're not very expensive either. If I had to take a wild guess, in comparison to the TV series I'd say the comic book is currently on Season 8 atm.

• thecrimson, both of them are on Amazon (US). But they're not comedies. • The cross lightsaber design from Star Wars: TFA appears to be a way of stopping one's hand from being cut off. Makes sense considering how much that happened in the previous films (Anakin, Dooku, Windu, Grievous, Luke, Vader). • I just found out Fight Club has a sequel in comic book form. My lack of bread makes me cautious to buy it though. • Marvel Axis Inversion event brings new character rosters, team ups and costumes. Nothing big has happened yet but Marvel promises they have big plans for 2015. They even say big things will be happening across the universe, but so far it's been pretty much just a Marvel Team-Up vs Red Skull story. Fingers crossed next year will bring Marvel's promises to fruition.

I remember being tired of Bendis too once and I happened to come across some old ultimate Spidey comics and they were actually good. I contributed that to Bendis just losing his touch but that wasn't the case either. When Miles Morales first came on the scene those comics were good too. I have to contribute that to Bendis is just phoning it in most of the time now and just riding on his name. As for comics ... has anybody read Tooth and Claw by Kurt Busiek? It's something new but so far it seems pretty good. I'm also having fun with Spideyverse ... although my wallet is crying.

From what little I gathered I'm not sure if this is a DC level relaunch (aka reboot) or the Marvel equivalent of a relaunch (Marvel NOW).

Why is it that whenever I try to get away from superhero comics it's always something Spider-Man related that brings me back? I haven't read much of Dan Slott's work but goddamn he knows how to tell comics. I've picked up a few Ultimate issues but nothing much has happened in them. Just a lot of filler to accommodate the wait until it's over. The Spider-Man stuff keeps me somewhat entertained but there's no way it can hold up an entire universe. I re-read Batman: Earth One the other day to get my mind fresh for the sequel. I keep up with some other stuff but not much because money's been so tight over Christmas.

As for the Archie Relaunch ... hasn't that happened a few times? Archie has always evolved with the times. Except for Jugheads hat.

Yeah, rumours have been flying around for a few months that Sony are planning to reboot the franchise again. I don't think I could sit through another origin. The rumors I read was Marvel rebooting it and it would start with Peter already being Spider-Man and NOT another origin. As per the leaks released anyways.
