Could you tell me how you get on with it? I'm still on the fence about Destiny. With big games like this, I usually end up disappointed because of hype, but it does look pretty cool though. Speaking of games, is anyone here a fan of Wolfenstein or Doom? Supergirl TV show confirmed. www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=55398 So far it's a really good FPS. But it's not really a good MMO. Call of Duty definitely has a solid competitor now. It's great that there are more FPS titles that live up to the high standard of COD's shooting mechanics. It's tight. COD has been a boring shooter for years. So I love that more FPS titles have a good chance of knocking COD off it's throne. The customisation is great. It really is a fun and well made FPS game. However. The graphics are a bit shit for a PS4 game. And as an MMO, it's pales in comparison to most others. In fact, it doesn't really feel like a proper MMO at all. I'm thoroughly enjoying Destiny at the moment. I don't know how long it'll have me engaged. I'll post a better review tomorrow. I'm a fan of both Wolfenstein and Doom. They blew me away when I was a kid. Wolfenstein 3D was the first FPS game ever made. That was on Dos! I've been an FPS nutter ever since. |

I don't think Destiny was meant to be in between a multiplayer game, and an MMO. Also, it's good to find a Wolfenstein and Doom fan. Just out of curiosity, haveyou played Wolfenstein: The New Order? Destiny is a great online FPS game. It's great that we have more games trying to de-throne COD as the next big online shooter. It's a really deep, fun FPS game. But it's not worthy of the MMO brand. No, I haven't played that or any recent Wolfenstein games, but it's what got me into playing FPS games to begin with. It was great killing Hitler. But it wasn't long before I made the jump to Unreal, Unreal Tournament and Make Your Own Unreal. Then I started playing a lot of Time Splitters. I've played quite a lot of others (like Half Life, Portal, Duke Nukem, Doom, Quake, Battlefield and about four different 007 FPS'), and then I got addicted to COD online and COD zombies for like three and a half years. I'm not buying another COD game ever again though, and quit playing them a few years back. I can't wait for Far Cry 4 in November. That's going to be so awesome. |

I wouldn't mind Laura Vandervoort playing Supergirl in the new show, as long as it's not connected to Smallville, and if it is instead part of the Arrow/Flash universe.
