Meanwhile, MARVEL is announcing yet another film to come out on May 4th, 2018 making the total films for that year 3. I've been hearing a lot of rumors that The Amazing Spider-Man 3 could be the same situation that happened with The Incredible Hulk in that Sony (like Universal) will own all future distribution rights for all Spider-Man films but Marvel is taking over creative control of the franchise. Also, there is no real explicit continuity issues with just throwing the current version of Spider-Man into the mix and it might be the only way Marvel could sway Sony to make the deal is to use their version. I'm not saying it is going to happen but the placement of The Amazing Spider-Man 3 being further back and Sony bringing their plans for a Sinister Six movie closer to fruition makes me think Sony may be trying one last full cash-in off of something they already set up in their previous film and then giving the third one for a fresh, creative start (probably with the Sinister Six actually facing off against Spider-Man). Or...it could have something to do with Robert Downey Jr. recently showing some new interest in Iron Man 4 and Marvel wants to try to get fans to come onto their side again to get Downey to sign another contract and Marvel can appropriate a spot for yet another $1.2 billion + haul for their most popular character. I don't know, just something I thought about. |

Rocky, I'm not trying to say anything but...  There is no way that GOTG will ever be as good as Citizen Kane. GOTG will most likely be a great movie but it will not be a cinematic masterpiece. The criteria that GOTG has to achieve to get legendary status is just impossible for a comicbook movie. I didn't know Vision is going to be in AOU. I mean I probably should have guessed. Why did know one tell me. |

Has it been revealed who made the Vision? If it's Tony who made him, his rocket boots would be unnecessary. And Ant-Man is supposed to debut later with his own movie. So maybe the movie version of Bruce Banner is a tech expert, which would be quite out of the blue. Keep the details coming. Again?! Why not make a Vice Presidential decision and pick one. That would be a dictatorial decision. |
