So who here loved this week's Agents of SHIELD & Arrow?

John Garrett is the best character ever on SHIELD, I hope he becomes' a long term villain because he's the sort of anti-Coulson at the end of the day, i freaking loved this week's Arrow. Arrow has been such a fantastic show from the beginning with the 2nd season. The Mirakuru Roy stuff was cringeworthy, but i understood why they did it.

I have no idea what happened.

Oh, well it looked pretty stupid from my end.

So yeah, Wednesday's Arrow was epic.

I thought it would be nice to relish in the topics that Plawsky doesn't allow on CBR, such as the awesome conversations that can flourish out of discussions surrounding mythology.

Ok, so who here loves mythology? Most of you? That's great. I've just come up with something cool.

Who would win in a fight between Jesus (the mortal son of the Christian God) and Michael, the "Lamb of God"?

Now, I know these guys would NEVER fight each other. But theoretically speaking, who would win?

Let's take a look at the two contestants.

Jesus - Technically a demigod, he is the mortal version of the all powerful Christian God, as well as his son. However, he does not possess all the knowledge and memories of his father, and unlike the demigods of Greek Mythology, he does not appear to have super strength but more magical abilities. And most of all, he's probably the most powerful demigod ever depicted. He's basically a mortal, human and much weaker version of the Christian God.
Additional Notes:
• The Christian God is basically unstoppable and can do almost anything. He's arguably the most powerful being ever conceived. Jesus is a lot different though.
• I think Jesus would be able to defeat any of the Greek demigods, even Hercules by turning the water in his body into wine. That would be a pretty cool finisher.

Michael - Michael exists in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic teachings. He is known as the Lamb of God. He's also by far the most powerful archangel under God's command and is second in command within the hierarchy of Heaven. He struck down Lucifer in The Book of Revelation (found in the New Testament), though since Lucifer became Satan and broke free from the ninth circle of Hell - eventually making it his kingdom - Lucifer/Satan is now probably much more powerful than Michael. Michael is an incredibly powerful angle/seraph, but he does not possess the power of a god like God or Satan.

for the most epic battle in Christianity. Michael kicks ass as the right hand of God.

So who would win? Who is the strongest or most powerful?

It could really go either way, I think. Michael has his flaming sword in which Jesus can't really dodge. Jesus is unable to teleport and doesn't possess superspeed to allow him to move away fast enough. Alternatively, Michael is an angel, and so would therefore most likely be flying, and wind attacks are usually strong against those who can fly, so Jesus' power over the wind could be an incredible advantage over Michael.

Who here is looking forward to the Hercules movie this summer? I stand by this strongly: It's the role Dwayne Johnson was BORN to play. We've all seen how bad he is at acting, but as Hercules, what could possibly go wrong? He's dench. He can roar and act angry in a convincing way. And his bone headed attitude is perfect for a character like Hercules. I think he'll pull off the character excellently, as I don't think there will be any subtle nuances for him to foolishly portray. It'll require more over the top acting, and that's something I think Dwayne Johnson won't have any problem doing well.

Most of all, I really like how Dwayne Johnson adheres to the awesome aesthetic look of Hercules, mostly due to how incredibly cut he is. But I love that he's a Black guy who's playing a White guy because not only is it bold (like Orson Welles being a White guy playing a Black guy in Othello) but there's something really awesome looking about Dwayne Johnson as Hercules. The White colour over his Black face makes him looks strikingly superhuman. He looks stunning. I can't imagine Hercules looking better. He looks beyond human. I'm in awe of how awesome he looks.

PS. What made you stop?

Me & Rocky utterly love the show. I think season 2 is a fantastic superhero drama with action, adventure and yada yada. Deathstroke's "mirakuru made him insane" is questionebly a forced motivation, but Manu Bennet has become the Deathstroke to many, just like Kevin Conroy is the Batman for alot of folks.

It's definitely worth a look if you're keen to check it out again. Anyhow, i am so ready for Agent Carter, i think it's going to be the best thing ever since sliced bread. It's going to be *the comic tv show* out there, you got time periods, spy vs. spy, you can create so much with this. I am so hyped!
